One type of tourism that is developing quite rapidly is the culinary sector. This is indicated by the large number of workers absorbed in the culinary field. Realizing that Banjarmasin has great potential in the culinary tourism sector, the government has stepped in to develop the culinary tourism sector. However, the development carried out only sometimes runs smoothly, and in the process, several problems arise. Many visitors complain about the lack of supporting facilities, the place could be more visually attractive, the level of security could be better, and access is difficult. To solve this problem, culinary as a public place is used, formulated through the placemaking approach method. The concept of culinary as a public place emphasizes the relationship between user needs and the design object. Through the placemaking method approach, user comfort is implemented through arranging comfortable accessibility and circulation, providing supporting facilities, and adding the RTP function as a new attractive element to the object.
Muhammad Hanan Alghifari, Irwan Yudha Hadinata ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://103.81.100.242/index.php/lanting/article/view/3163 Fri, 28 Feb 2025 00:00:00 +0800 STUDENT CENTER FAKULTAS TEKNIK UNIVERSITAS LAMBUNG MANGKURAT http://103.81.100.242/index.php/lanting/article/view/3127
The Student Center of the Faculty of Engineering Lambung Mangkurat University aims to improve facilities for students and student organizations. One of them is the Riam Kanan Reservoir area in Aranio District, Banjar Regency. Riam Kanan Reservoir has vast water potential and can be developed as a tourist destination. The existence of floating net cages (KJA) in this reservoir can also be a tourist attraction. Apart from that, another potential is the existence of Pine Island ecotourism which is currently not optimal due to constraints on the slow development of tourist areas. This writing aims to solve problems and respond to the potential that exists in the Riam Kanan Reservoir by preparing a concept for designing water tourism, namely mina wisata. The aim of designing this tourist attraction is to maximize the potential of the Riam Kanan Reservoir as a water tourism area and develop floating net cages (KJA) as well as interacting with the Pine Island Ecotourism area around the site. The step to achieve the goal is with a tourism design concept that emphasizes water tourism activities and floating net cage (KJA) areas as education and the principle of mutual support with Pine Island Ecotourism through a symbiotic architectural approach. The result is the development of tourist facilities towards the education and tourism sectors through the Edu-Tourism concept as a form of responding to problems in the design of mina wisata.
Muhammad Dwi Rizqi, Dila Nadya Andini ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://103.81.100.242/index.php/lanting/article/view/3159 Fri, 28 Feb 2025 00:00:00 +0800 GALERI SENI LUKIS BANJARBARU http://103.81.100.242/index.php/lanting/article/view/3158
Art galleries have a role as a means for artists to exhibit their work and a means for the public to enjoy and obtain information about art on a non-formal basis. The four categories that influence a child's growth are gross motor skills, fine motor skills, language, and social/emotional. The city of Banjarbaru, with its rapid population growth, has a significant number of toddlers, but parents often have difficulty caring for children because many work outside the home. The daycare available in this city does not have adequate facilities, especially to help children's development based on their age. This is a problem raised in the design. The concept of “Interactive Design” is used to create an environment that stimulates children's development according to their age.
